So I finally ran out of my beloved Zara Black perfume. It was the first thing I bought when I arrived in London for my study abroad semester in 2011. I loved that scent, and I still do, but I wanted to try something new.
I first got a whiff of Paris when I was idling around a River Island near Bond Street, waiting for my sister to get to the tills. It made such an impression on me that four months later I was hunting it down again. I usually go for spicy-sweet scents--if I could roll around in ground cinnamon and walk out the door, I'd do it. Paris is a more mature fragrance than what I usually go for. Just in that it's a little less sweet and a little more powdery. But the spice in still in there. With the packaging and the price, I was sold.
Paris Eau de Toilet // River Island £10
