NUXE Rêve de Miel.

This bad boy has been on my want list for over a year.  I think Essie is the first person I heard about it from, but if you bounce around the online beauty blogging world, this lip balm is a favourite.  My lips are troublemakers.  Worn out from kissing all those boys ;] ... heh.  No, but really, I've always had issues with what I call "the chunky lip."  Bit of warning, s'about to get a little gross here in terms of description.  I can't wear a lot of my lipsticks because they tend to cling to little flakey bits of skin on my lips.  It's a goddamn miracle if I get a remotely smooth finish.  Even after doing a lip scrub.  I don't know if it's because my lips are bigish and I'm constantly dehydrated, but they are always chapped.  It might be because I don't consistently take care of them.  Though when I would religiously put on some EOS before going to bed, I never really noticed that much of a difference with lipstick application the next day.  So my laziness isn't completely unjustified.

When I lived at my parents' house, I always felt like there was chapstick around.  I could always rely on my dad having some in his pocket or a secret stash I could raid.  Which is why I feel indignant every time I've had to buy lip balm since I don't live with my rents anymore.  So when I ran out of my emergency Vaseline lip balm tin and then my EOS, I thought if I have to buy one, it's gonna be a good one.  Also I found a discount code that should have been expired.

NUXE Rêve de Miel // £9.50

The scent kind of reminds me of lemon curd and, get this, honey.  As you can see from the last picture, it doesn't really show up which is fine.  I'm excited to see how it works out for me through regular usage.  And let me know if you have any favourite lip balms!
