August NL01: Face Wash and Inaugural Meals

So before I moved to London this August, I stayed at Sanne's house in the Netherlands for ten days.  It was the longest I had been in her country and her house even and I remembered being really frustrated with myself once I left that I didn't make an effort to blog everyday about my experiences.  Because I do remember a specifically different sort of "culture shock" that went down during that trip.  An overall positive shock, but the actualities of those feelings are all but faded into oblivion now.

I arrived at stupid early in the morning--hooray international flights.  So I think this might be me washing my plane/train face off.  And then Sanne made us the most beautiful wrap of veggies and hummus and eggs and cheese and you should just know that I really really really like Sanne's cooking.
